Website privacy policy

This policy covers the doneygames.com website, its community boards and its contact form. Each game has its own policy; for Age of Gods: Breakfront see the Breakfront privacy policy.

Browsing

You can read every page and every community thread without an account. The site has no advertising and no analytics or tracking scripts. It is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request information (such as IP addresses) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse; see Cloudflare's privacy policy. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.

Community accounts

If you create an account we store your email address, a securely hashed password and the username you choose. Your username and your posts are public. Your email address is never shown to other members. Accounts and posts are stored with Supabase, our database provider.

Store purchases

Purchases in the Doney Games store are processed by Stripe, which acts as the seller of record: Stripe takes the payment, handles sales tax and VAT, and sends your receipt, under Stripe's own privacy policy. We never see your card details.

So you can download what you bought, we keep a record of each purchase: your email address, what you bought, the order number, the amount and currency, and, if you were signed in, your account. Purchased files are stored with Cloudflare and are delivered through links that expire.

We keep purchase records for as long as you might want to download your items again and as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Contact form

Messages you send through the contact form (your name, email address, subject and message) are stored so we can read and reply to them, and are not used for anything else.

Cookies and local storage

When you sign in, your browser stores a session token so you stay signed in. The browser version of Breakfront stores your game progress in your browser. Neither is used for tracking.

Your choices

You can change your username on your account page. To delete your account and its personal data, or to get a copy of it, email hello@doneygames.com from the address on the account. Posts in public threads may be kept with the author shown as removed.

Children

Community accounts are for people 13 and older.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
